What is alternate text and why it's used for.
Search engines look for alternate text when someone searches the web under images.
In most browsers when you see a image and guide your cursor over it you can see the alternate text appear, you will also see the alternate text when the image has not downloaded yet.
Alternate text is used for images and pictures. You have named your images or photo's and pictures when you have saved it as a file. Most website builder's if you right click it a description box will open up. You will now notice a area for alternate text this is where you will put the name of the image or photo or picture. Good you got that done.

Navigation and Hyper Links
Today we will discuss navigation and hyperlinks.
Now that you have your index page more or less laid out, it's time to think how are the visitors will move around the site.
Lets talk about how are they going to do this. Well the way they go about your site is through navigation. This will be your menu bar's or hyperlinks also( known as anchor text) or some will call it category listings. These navigation's will take the visitor's to your inner pages. In the navigation listings you can name your index page home.
You can place your navigation either on the left side of the page, or right below your header and some websites do add the navigation on the right side of the website. That's solely up to you.
(When adding the navigation to inner pages, this a must make sure they are in the same exact spot as the index page)
First lets add a menu bar to be linked. You have your menu bar's already in place now lets start linking them.
The first one will be you home page (index page) on most website builder's if you right click it a description box will open's up. Now look where you can name that menu bar this is where you will put down Home. O K you got that done good.Now we will ad a link to that menu bar, look where it say's link. Now to link your home page.
This should be how it will look when written in
http://www.yourdomain.com. now that menu bar has a link.

Ready to build that website
Now that you have your domain and hosting account it's time to build your website. You have researched your niche, now it's time to put it in to action.
Before you build your first page. First you may want to use a template. Most website builder's come with there own set of templates, or you can find dozens of websites offering free templates as well as premium templates pick a theme that would suit your site.
Our next step you want to build is your landing page ( your index page).
(Keep in mind when building your page do not make it wider than !,000 anywhere from 800 to 1,000 is ideal)
If your are using images as well as text the best bet is download a pixel resizer for the simple reason that you do not want high kbs on it ( high kbs for images take longer to load on a browser). You can take a image thats 100 kbs and resize it down to 30 kbs or less and the image will still look the same.
When you do use images and save them in your file, it is best to name them after your keywords.
Now the text you want to use is friendly font's like arial and times new roman also some use comic sans. When using text it is best being black on a light background.
Now to start that landing page also know as your index. Very important to remember that when you are done with this page and save it as a file to be published it must be called index and only in small letter's. (otherwise when you publish it you will see a page called index of on the browser).
This landing page you want to make it short with all the info of the site. This page is your sales page you want it interesting to sell the site to visitor's to continue on to your other pages. If it does not catch there interest they will leave.
When you are satisfied with your landing page have some friends look it over and get there opinion on it. Let them know if they see something that may not be appealing. You may want to take that into consideration. (Keep in my for adding your menu bar or links to the page)

I Want To Build A Website
Today as you surf on the internet, you will come across many ads on websites. Saying build a online business these ads are trying to lure you in by quoting build a website or build your home online business make this amount of dollar's, I am sure you have seen them they are all over the internet. First off it's not that easy as they say. The only one's that do make money it's them by charging a certain amount of dollar's to your credit card and you are stuck with a online business, thats going nowhere now what do you do now.
Well if you still want a website and earn money from it there are steps to take.
First step to take is find the niche you want to build what the website will be about, research that niche. ( find a niche you are interested and know something about it) Great you found your niche what do you do now.
Second step is getting a domain and a hosting account. Most hosting services have website builders so you can build a great looking website. You want a domain that can have the keyword of your niche within it. (example your niche is about car's do you think a domain like this will work rollingdowntheroad.com or cardownthe road.com) Or you can say use auto or automobile which are both related to cars. Your main goal when getting a domain goes nicely with that niche.
(Make sure the hosting services fit's your need, check on it reviews to do this just google hosting account reviews you want a good hosting services)
